Zman yes I put a new one on but it does it with the cleaner off and on the truck and as far as vac leaks i sprayed all over with brake clean with no changes the truck idles great.
does brake cleaner work better then starting fluid? Could you put your old air hat back on and see if that changes anything?
They both should have the same effect if there was a vaccumm leak. Brake cleaner might not work as well as a can of ether but i would assume it would still work

Sorry total brain fart. LOL You have a 14x3, which I noticed yesterday after my last reply in your sig. Was doing other stuff and never replied back. With a 14x3, what you here is perfectly normal. One reason I never liked that mod. If you still have it, put the OEM air cleaner assembly back on. I bet you won't hear anything. Not to mention, maybe feel a little better bottom end.
Zman it makes the noise with or with out the air cleaner and with the stock box on the closest I can describe what the sound is On a chevy you know when the fuel pump is going out it makes that buzzing noise that is what it sounds like also is loud enough you hear it in the cab of the truck I want to say you can damn near feel the vibration. I honestly think its the intake leaking at the corner but i have no oil leaks
I don't know what to suggest next sorry. Back in the the thread you said whistling, now you say buzzing. I don't think a leaking intake is going to cause buzzing. Get another person to move around the truck and try to pinpoint the noise.
yea sorry it did start as a whistle now it is a buzz like a cavitation thats what im gonna do im pulling the intake off again just to make sure.and its def behind the intake
No problem. I'd keep looking. Hate to see you have to pull the intake again, only to find out it's not that. Maybe it's just a bad PCV or PCV hose too.
