You need to swap the manifolds anyway. 98 and newer only have one temp sensor on the coolant passage, yours has two.

+1, glad I asked. The EGR also. And isn't there an issue with how the TC is balanced?

Ok so I need to swap the 94 intake mani onto the 01 motor along with the egr. Is there A way to just delete the egr?

You can just plug the hole in the exhaust manifold, and put a plate over the ports where the egr valve goes, but, you may, or may not... get an egr code.

You have to swap the manifolds anyway, just hook the egr back up.

Zman is right about the flexplate/torque converters. If you are re-using the TC from the '94, you need to use the '94 flexplate as well. Same goes for the other way as well.

I am using the tc and flex plate from the 94 with the 94 tranny. I got the intake Manu off and all the new gaskets. The new gaskets came with the truck, score. So now I have to go pick up the old 360 so I can get the intake mani and exhaust mani off of it. Is there anyway to post pics from my iPhone?
