Why? LOL And don't put a TB spacer or a jet chip on the new one.

i don't know why you couldn't just have both. i just bought another DODGE the other day but it don't mean i am going to get rid of my other ones. one of them is going to become a project truck.

Funny you should see it that way... I'm going to guess your living with someone else who pays most of the bills to have the disposable income and no or few other priorities to spend it on?
Some of us have bills to pay and / or limited driveway space or a family to take care of.... plus its better to have one dodge truck to focus attention and money on...(One is bad enough)

I plan on selling my two summer cars and downsizing to one for just that reason...I also have home improvement projects and a cabin to work on....

I guess Its all about where a person is in their life and their priorities...

I second the comment about the jet chip and TB spacer being a total waste of money btw... jet chip only works until the pcm learns to overide the changes within a couple hundred miles... you literally would have to disconnect your battery every week and reprogram your stereo and such each time to keep the pcm in the dark and have the jet chip make any difference..

i have my share of bills but i am good with my money. i go deal shopping and make my money go as far as i can. i also take about $100 off each pay check and put it aside as a bit of a rainy day fund/emergency money which i spent on a new vehicle, plus there was 3 pay days last month so there was a bit extra money burning a whole in my pocket.

yep... that pretty much settles it. As soon as I find a set of 06-08 20's for a decent price, I'm getting them.

Both trucks look great, You'll be happy with the better interior (layout not quality) of your new truck compared to the 97, and the extra space in the back.
