I have 245/75/16 Load range E now and was thinking about going up to 265 or 285 any ideas? I don't "off" road but I do go off road to cut fire wood so I do want some tread but not looking for big knobby tires. I haul wood in the truck so the tires have to handle the load. Highway rumble is no fun for me. Have to have at least load range E.. I did a search but did not find much info thanks..
You should know that people always want the world but only want to spend a couple of bucks. You know, it's along the lines of, "HELP! My super lifted 4x4 truck with a 5.9L only gets 10mpg. How can I get better mpg?"
I have Hankook RT03s 285/75/16, They should fit your 2500 with no problems at all, and they dont make any noise at all really, heres a picture for ya, theyre mounted on 16x8s with a 4" backspace (0 offset)

I don't want to spend $1000 but figure I need/can spend 600-800 to get a decent set of tires. This truck is only used on my days off and I only but about 4-5000k a year on her.
The tires I got now have great tread left they are getting dry rot so I need a new set.
VW dodge thanks for the info?
