Question 2 wheel anti lock brakes

I have a 1995 Ram 1500 with 2 wheel anti lock brakes. I have owned several cars with 4 wheel anti lock brakes and mixing tire sizes front to back will make the service light come on. Will the same thing happen with 2 wheel anti lock brakes? Is it okay to put smaller tires on the front and larger tires on the back, within reason? Thanks

The PCM doesn't monitor front wheel speed at all on the RWAL systems, it simply doesn't care. You can put whatever you want on the front, and it won't affect the system in the slightest.

Speedo might not read exact MPH if you put larger tires the OEM on the rear. But that's about it as HeyYou stated.

Good point. I missed it, but as usual we don't have ALL the info about the vehicle. Kind of ridiculous we can't have full vehicle info required during the registration process, before posting is allowed.
