I have this theory that my truck would keep accelerating forever. In the real world it tops out around 110-120mph since that's how fast it can get to before it runs out of gas. I just need a bigger gas tank and I think I can hit light speed with it.
OR just put a Hemi in your 2nd Gen Ram and race the next Hemi you find!
Even if you did that, you'd either be down 45HP or you'd be out $16k for a new HEMI. Sure you could mod the old HEMI to match the new, but if he's modded too then your still down.

Not if your racing an older 3rd Gen Hemi with the 345HP 5.7L....... and you happen to have the 5.7L or newer.....
But yes, it would be rather expensive, regardless the cost of the motor itself..
But can you imagine the look on the 3rd Gen dude's face? Priceless....
"Hey, that thing got a Hemi?"
My bro in law has an '03 1500 with the 5.7L, it would absolutely throw you in your seat when he punched it.... It's currently undergoing an '03 to '04 motor swap, his bit the dust.....
