so im cruising up the highway yesterday when a dodge ram with a hemi pulls up beside me.i jump on the gas a bit to gear this guy up and he absolutely smokes me.this hemi was pulling an emptey tandem axle dump trailer and i could not beleive that he dusted me.im talkin complete rocket like acceleration.very impressive indeed.

 

LOL...I know. I have 97 Dak 5.2 and I get spanked by 4.7s all the time. It's sad really.....

 

Maybe an SCT tuner would help. Of course not if he has one too. LOL

 

Not surprising at all. The HEMIs 390HP and 407 lb-ft compared to your 245HP and 335 lb-ft at best. It's a hands down race.

Or you could just swap in a hemi. Should be a weekend ordeal! Just talk to DDRI he will tell you how simple it is!
