Default Project Starting soon!

Ok well I was outside today and got to looking at my old 92 Ram just sitting there all sad and whatnot.. So I made the decision to use that as my project and build that up instead of my 2000.. My plans are somewhat simple but nothing over the top.. I want about a total of 8-10 inches of lift and atleast a 40 inch tire. I know i want a set of one ton axles but the other parts like motor and transfer case are still up in the air and I am open to suggestions. There is no rush on this project and I will be buying parts here and there.. Motor and transmisson are the tough one to figure out on what i want to do.. Anyway onto the pictures like I was told to post

As it sits now its a 2 inch lift with 33's.. I think.. no more than a 4 inch for sure.

Can't wait to see what you decide to do to it! I like older vehicles....but they usually get me in trouble....

I know what direction I want to go in I just have to figure out what I wanna use for motor, transmission and transfer case. It has 96000 miles on it. The transmission and transfer case are done for. The motor is still pretty strong.

that looks like a really good truck to start with. i think you may want to avoid that hemi unless you plan on spending some serious money. i would say if it has the 5.2 you should keep it. if you have the 5.9 you should maybe think about sticking a fuel injected magnum in it. a 440 would also be nice but a bit harder to find with all you need.

Yea its the trusty old 318. The Hemi is out of my dads truck and my buddy offered to give it to me.. I might end up just doing a refresh on the 318 and putting a good transmission in it.
