Your hookup assumes you could have spooled out to the same angle/height/etc. to recover yourself. Then yeah, that would be a decent comparison.

I'm not familiar with the GMCs, but that doesn't look like a fullsize one. Is it the Canyon? Looks sharp. Why aren't you showing off the bumper more...???? Get more pics as it appears to be offset down around the stock bumper?
I don't have personal experience with that winch. I asked my buddy as well. Looking for all opinions. They aren't an m8000 but they appear to be a very decent winch for the price.

Yup that's my buddy's canyon. We built the bumper last year and I think he has a champion? Winch. Havent been showing it off because its not mine exactly lol. I did help build it though. I welded and bent most of it. I'll try and find more pics. It turned out very good

That Canyon looks good! I'd like to see more pics too, if possible. I'd like to make a tube bumper for my truck as well and would like to other people's builds.

Loaded with 16 variable sizes, not packed very efficiently, but whatever. Will get some more. Part of an obstacle course for my kids' school this week I'm building.

When one looks past all those dang scrap tires, you notice a great looking spare mount. Nice Job! Where's my ordering pad..............K.

Missed the tire rack for the vacation knap sack...........missed in previous observations

Thanks dudes. It has some other features to get still. Just sorting through the list of things...ya know.

Finished painting the cargo basket (before the tire pictures).

Then installed Synergy 6" Sway Bar Links!! Sway bar to active duty and it's like I've fallen in love all over again.

Back to the front tube bumper, make sure you guys tie it into the front mounting rails appropriately. No skimping there!! I have pictures in this thread of one way to do it, which keeps the bumper removable and bolts in shear.

As for the tire carrier...you guys will have to setup your rear bumper in some similar fashion to accommodate the quarter panel tube.

Everything's looking good! Do you know this truck? It looks similar to the one you've posted before but I'm not sure. I got the picture off pirate.

Snowbound, thanks for posting that pic man!! I've been looking for 2nd ram winch bumpers for ideas but never seen this one. It's the closest to my vision. Was there any more pics? Thanks a lot!!

Corbo, may not start the bumper build next week. Depends on the weather. Truck doesn't fit in the shop anymore and it's supposed to rain for over a week :\ will let you guys know.
