Alright guys I have pictures, 53 I think, but I can't upload them from here, choices for high speed internet are almost 0, and there's a limit on download for the total month, so I'll go to the office to upload them...

 

FYI, that station on the ethanol free gas database not only doesn't sell ethanol free gas - it ain't there no more! Bulldozed down - just a big vacant lot outside of town now. They need to take that one off the list. I was at the intersection where it used to be about two hours ago...

Well I ain't been in Douglas since last November and I honestly can't remember if I went by there or not, but I know I was out that way late last summer then they were there and operational, I remember passing on the way to go skeet shooting and stopping in for a Monster to drink. But it's gone now...

Alright guys, been here just over a week and already missing Georgia. It's great to be close to family and old friends but I dunno.... Sigh.

 

It'll take some time to get into the swing of things and settle in. A week is not enough time, acclimation will take a bit.

Did you start looking for a job yet? Wife too? That should help...

 

Hit 103* in town yesterday, heat index of 119*. Went out for catfish at midnight last night was still 91* not a breath of wind. Only managed one damn snapping turtle - never had the first catfish hit.

I told you that you'd miss south Georgia. The swamps, red clay and even the gnats gets into your blood...
