i have duratracs, and absolutely love them! side walls dont feel soft at all when driving, plowing, or towing. they have about 25k~ on them and have about 1/4 tread remaining.

probly couldve gotten closer to 40k if i rotated them on schedule, and didnt do a few brake stands. i have no complaints about them. theyve gotten me out of quite a few slippery situations(as in snow) and have amazing traction! gonna go with something a bit cheaper next time though. i paid 868.88 installed for them in jan '11

the ones i got on my 81 are suppose to be good for 100,000km. the warranty cover Damage and Manufacturing Defects for the life of the usable tread(which is 2/32") of tread or five years from the date of purchase, whichever comes first.

What did you pay each? I found your's for 201...
I might have to get new tires if I can't solve my bounce.

I was torn between a set of Authoritys or some Treadwrights...I think I'll avoid the Authoritys.
