Default Pair of Off Road Rams.

For anyone interested, there are two Ram 1500 off roads for sale just south of adrian, mi, on US 223. One is an 01, and looks to be in pretty good condition, the other is a 97, and has the clearcoat peeling issues common then. They are asking like 3700 for the 01, so, I would guess the 97 is going to be substantially cheaper than that.

they are both extended cab (01 has the rear doors), short beds.

They aren't advertised anywhere on the web that I am aware of, they are just sitting on the side of the road, at a little corner car lot just outside of town. I saw them on the way to/from my storage unit. (preparing to move here in the very near future.)

If you are referring to the Off Road Edition models, the 1997 cannot be one. They only offered the Off Road Edition for two model years, 2000 and 2001.

If by "off road" you mean aftermarket jacked up with huge tires, thats a different story.

The 97 has "off road" in script on the tailgate. Just a decal like you would expect. You are correct though, the real package was only offered in 00, and 01..... so, not sure what that's all about. I will try and get some pics later.
