Default pedestrian hit and run

hey guys sorry i havent really been on the forum in a while. i recently moved to a new base and have just been too busy to regularly visit the site. now to get on with my story.

friday night i was walking home from the bar when i was hit by a car. i spent the entire weekend in the hospital.i recieved emergency surgury, but i am ok now. i broke one of the bones in my left forearm in 2 places and dislocated the other. my left shoulder was also dislocated. the driver fled the scene leaving me crumpled in the ditch. i now have a metal plate and 7 scews in my arm. however i am not informing yall of this for pity, i am telling yall this as a caution for anyone that lives in or travels though charleston , south carolina. the area is beautiful, but the drivers are dangerous. i now understand why my truck insurance rate doubled when i moved here. people pay no attention to traffic lights or turn signals. driving to work is like driving in a destruction derby. so if yall drive in south carolina the just be carefull

glad you're ok. that bone splint is pretty cool.

look on the bright side of living in Charleston - when your transmission needs work all you have to do is take it to MonteC (Griffin Transmission) and don't worry about it.

What? No Duct Tape?

Good that you are ok. Did you get anything off of the vehicle that hit ya? I would be lookin' for some payback......

For sure... just look for a vehicle with a Backwoodsram sized dent.. then very calmly park your truck on top of their vehicle

Oh? What? You were parked there? Really? Oh damn, I'm sorry, kinda.... I didn't see you there. Just like you didn't see ME when you RAN MY *** OVER!

Followed by a heavy thud as my fist contacts his nose.

that suck but it could have been a lot worse. my uncle got hit by a car that ran and it destroyed his knee. he now has a metal knee and has to always wear a knee brace.

well he pretty much ruined my dreams (you can't be special forces with pins or screws), and i was going to cross train next year. and Naw no one saw anything, and i have had no luck looking for a vehicle with a caved in passenger side. the sorry S.O.B. that left me laying there to die better hope that i never find them
