I had the google redirect also. took my tower to a local computer repair joint and they fixed it gave me some memory and a 40 dollar 1 year virus scan subscription all for 70 bucks. might want to try one of these local mom and pop places.

Not yet....... I am seriously considering simply updating my operating system..... (so, wipe and reload would be required....) That I should hope, would certainly get it. Don't have to work today, so, may try uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox, see what happens.
