My wife would like it better. Can't play my games on a Mac......

Aside from that, I don't have any real desire to pay twice the price, for half the computing power......

Any chance you could swindle a deal on Windows 7 from your employer?

Not the games I play..... it's a major pain to even get the GAME to run, then, there are the tools I need to be able to use to make various mods work. It's been so long since I have done anything at all with any variety of "ix"..... It would be easier for me to just re-install XP..... Reason I am considering Win7, is so my printer will actually work. (can't find drivers for XP64.)

I took one of those for a test drive at the apple store a year or so ago. It cost north of $2000 and it took me all of 30 seconds to lock it up (meaning nothing worky).
I built a computer for the fiancee a year or so ago. It cost $500 for the complete computer (everything minus a high end video card because she doesn't need one) and it blows the doors off the mac.
