14.8! Mostly Highway, but high speeds, 70-80 and a 2000ft climb

^There must be something wrong with your calculations!
I can get 13 at 70mph, but as soon as I cruise at 75, it drops like a rock...

Best bet it to go fill-up to fill-up, or record all miles driven and pump gallons in from one full fill to the next. Anything else and you might as well just pull numbers out of your own or someone else's ***. Not mine, though. There's no room for numbers in there with my head in it. Ones fit from time to time, but sevens and twos are painful in different ways and eights won't go in past the skinny part in the middle. Threes? They're a bloody mess. Fours won't go at all, nor will fives.
Well at a needles width below 1/4 tank I can throw $20 in at $3.92 a gallon (just over 5 gallons of gas) and get to half tank and do 103 miles off of that gas. Its been pretty consistent in the month of me throwing $20 in when I can. I honestly haven't seen the gauge above 3/4ths tank yet since buying it lol. Been too busy with a full tune up & plenum gasket repair and buying beer to afford a full fill up.

I would think so... add 10% to your odometer count, then do the mpg calculations with that...

@Slash: I don't understand how people can do that. I hate not filling up. It bothers me.

i also hate not filling up the tank even tho it does empty the wallet.

i topped up my 81 today because gas is suppose to go up $0.03/L which works out to about $3 per tank. i got 9.3mpg which seems about correct since i did 100% city driving in it with some light tire spinning.

When i was driving back and forth to work everyday (120 mile round trip) i was averaging 13-13.5 consistantly for 2 months....that 80% highway 20% city....when i lived in mass i lived in a big city ALOT of stop and go...i averaged about 85% city 15% highway and would cap at about 10.5 driving easy...driving the way i do i got about 8

So to make it easy;

80% highway 20% city...13-13.5mpgs

In mass with lot of stop and go

85% city 15% highway ....10.5 max going easy

8 maybe 9 mpgs driving my normal way

Most pumps stop me around the $100 mark, full or not.

How is that possible? Other than you only giving them $100...

Could depend on payment method. Most pumps that I've seen have a sticker that tells you if paying by debit card the pump quits at $75, not sure if they apply's for credit cards too.

Cash should be pump as much as you need........
