Default Miles per gallon - What are you getting?

i figures we needed a thread like this in the 2nd gen section.

i topped up both my trucks to the tune of $172. i am lucky i had a fair bit of gas in my 93 or todays top up would have cost me close to $230.
i got some interesting results.
my 81 got 10.9 mpg doing mostly city driving
my 93 got 18 mpg doing mostly hi ways driving

I get a whopping 11 mpg. Mostly highway. Working on increasing this over the weekend, hoping for 14-15.

I average 13- sometimes a little more doing half city half highway. When I drove to Tennessee a few weeks ago I was averaging 16 cruising at 70-75mph.

In my 2001 I used to have, 5.9L V8 and 4x4, I'd get 14 in town on average and 15-16 on the highway. I'd get about 10 in town before I fixed my plenum, added an electric fan, and nabbed a SCT.

I get like 8 in town and about 13 on the highway if I drive like a Grandpa. Which is kinda hard to do since the speed limit is 75 on the interstate.

I used to get a solid 10 MPG around town and maybe 14 on the highway.

After switching to ethanol free gas I average 12 around town if im careful and easily 16+ on the highway
