Lol i could since i do have a warentee on my motor and trans for another 10k....but my motors got low miles i dont want to get a high milage motor put in...so i want mine to last....and i know that was a joke.

But i called them and they said to do the timing belt, tensioners, water pump, and the idler pulley it would be $375 for parts and labor...

I find it messed up they charge me $375 to do timing belt because thats not in my warentee but if my timing belt breaks and destroys engine i only pay a $100 deductable and i get a new engine put it...doeznt make sense...but i dont want a motor with like 150k put in when mines got 93k....so i think i might just pay the $375 to have it done...but i cant do it for a little bit....unfortunatly its raining so i cant inspect my belt today...hopefully tomorrow i can

Actually, 375 parts and labor is dirt cheap....... considering all they are changing out. Really not a bad deal.

Parts alone to do my Yota is a several hundred bucks. If you have never done it before, $375 may be a good investment.

Im going to just dont have that much cash to drop on it right now...take me about 2-3 weeks to be able to get it done....and i thought the same thing that its dirt cheap....but this dealership is right across from the hyundai dealer and they said it would be all dealer parts...so im def going to let them do it and save myself a headache...

They said those parts from the dealer are $190 total...then 3 1/2 hours labor which is $185.....cant complain with that price

God dammit....well my clutch is on its way out now...doesnt start moving until peddle is all the way out....but she doesnt slip at all...i hit a hill at 35mph and shifted to 5th and gassed it...she didnt slip at all rpms were at about 1800 when i gassed it....i know hydralic clutches are non adjustable so looks like im going to need a clutch soon....unfortunatly thats one of like the 4 things my warentee doesnt cover....ive changed clutches in a few vehicles so i know how to do them...

But after research i found an exeddy clutch kit for $98....hows the reputation for exeddy clutches? Anyone have other suggestions? I just dont want a autozone cheapo clutch.

Thought id put it in this thread since we already talking about my car...but like i said theres NO slippage...the clutch just doesnt make the car move until the peddles almost all the way up

Ive only ever lost 1 clutch and that was in my cobra.. It never gave any signs it was going either.. Pulling out from a stop sign one day just driving like normal and went to get 3rd and just went BOOM.. pedal went to the floor and it was completely gone... If the pedal feel is gettin a little different every time my guess would be its on its way out.

Yea and the slave blew last week too...pedal has alot of spring to it just takes alot of peddle before moving

I talked to my buddy who graduated at wyotech and works at the dodge dealership as a mechanic...well i asked him and he said dont worry about it until it starts slipping...and theres no slip..takes off fine and it goes into each gear smooth..its just my peddle travel has changed signifacantly the past week....i dont know what to do

Maybe this has something to do with it i just remembered....the slave said to bench bleed it...what i did to do this is hook the clutch line to it, crack open bleeder screw, and i pushed the piston by hand a few times until it was comming out the bleeder screw with a clean flow. Then i bled clutch as i should.

Could it be because i didnt bench bleed the slave the right way? But what makes me second guess this is the pedel was fine for 3 days before i noticed it was loosing pedel travel
