It's rare that HeyYou misquotes things or is thinking of other vehicles, but stock backspacing (at least according to this resource) is 5" not 4.5".

A BS of 4.5" (probably what might have been thought to recommend) is about right for our trucks. No rubbing on arms only a kiss on the inner fender well plastic for your leveled front. Or you may not touch at all.
