Modify the driveshaft to slip yoke one, which is a bonus actually.
Now for the V10 it has a 241 right?
To get back to pictures with the tech...saw this local here along with some other more classic dump trucks.

That is a good point. You could possibly knock out 2ish birds out. This would work fine for the 231D tcase by getting a SYE that has VSS. I wouldn't know what might change on the harness, if at all. Meaning the SYE has the provision for VSS, but do you have the sensor and harness just plugs in?

yes this would be the 241( thanks for catching that) but it is the same premise only difference is now you have to use the older Chevy setup on the 241 88-99 the tail shaft and the "speedo" ring from the Chevy case will fit on the dodge case and work the speedo is actually accurate
parts required from chevy:
tone ring
tail housing
vss sensor
vss sensor pigtail
(ps. Wh1t3NuKle this should make up for my completely wrong statement the other day about the off road edition trucks lol I was tired not thinking straight)

That bed is a great splice job, plus it's an operating dump bed!
That is some very useful tech about the 241C to use on our Dodge's. Kudos for sharing.
and super LoLz on the whole ORE suspension. You rock buddy.

Dirt/mud. It seemed to go away after a bit. I did a while back put it in 4wheel to make sure it worked and when I put it back in two it made the same noise for a few hundred feet. I almost wonder if my CAD is having a hard time fully engaging/disengaging.
I agree it's not enough, but mud is hard to come by in the Chicago suburbs lol.
