2nd Gen Ram Picture thread!!! Pic whore's unite.
The job can be cheaply done with just a JFET and a couple of resistors, leaving you with LED current that varies as a function of input voltage (from the dimmer rheostat). The manufacturer might not have done it precisely that way, but that's one way to do it.
Had a fundraiser for Wheelers for the Wounded organization this past Saturday. Supposed to be snow....but you people east of us are monopolizing it all!!
So it was turned into a Poker Run. Weather was like it would be in May. Still alot of fun bombing forest dirt roads. Pot holes, mud, snow patches, and clear views. All about hanging out. Generated some good funds.

Ready Welder
Premier Power Welder
I really like having both welders on the Jeep. Yes it is a little over kill but it is nice to have both.
Looks like you all had a great day. See you in September.
Indeed. Except those pictures SHOULD be blinding with white stuff.
Yeah, a group of yotas were coming out of challenging section. A 3rd gen 4runner had a linked rear end. Frame bracket for rear lower control arm was broke. The bracket was not even a single, bent piece. It was 3 separate pieces literally tacked together.
Like he forget to weld it out.
Buddy in our group had the Ready Welder, brand new. So I helped him set it up for first time use. He'd never welded with flux core before. So I just said...weld it same as you do gas (in order to not mess him up). This was repair to get home. He offered me to do it and I said....tell the OWNER to do it.
Buddy ended up doing it because he'd rather use the ready welder the first time on someone else's rig.
So....even out on plain jane dirt roads...you just may have a need for a welder. I've looked at the Premiere On board like you have...the price just kills me. But I may have an angle.... Plus, I still have room in the engine bay. lol
Someone was doing some welding with a Ready Welder. The one I have I can either use batteries to weld with or use my Premier Power onboard welder to power it. So I can stick weld or wire feed weld depending on the situation.

Yeah, just been a lot of white stuff where I'm at for the past few weeks. Wish the white stuff wasn't here right now.
