That project is on my list also... the dash will match my radio and A-pillar gauges.

HeyYou, I haven't tried the dimmer yet. My dash now isn't actually all that bad. (For me) It's a bit brighter than stock but not glaring.

I'm wondering the same... LED brightness is controlled by varying the current flow, not by varying the voltage (as you do with incandescent bulbs).

But hey... if it works!

Both my boost gauges have LED's in them.

They originally came with little white bulbs, but I wanted it to somewhat match my dash, and since green LED's were cheaper to get than bulb covers that change the bulb color...I got LEDs. and they dim!
