Apple does not provide the most critical of all resources upon which our entire economy is dependent. And lots of people do scream about it. You've just got to visit the same places they do if you want to hear it.

And the oil companies' margins are much greater than what is reported -- it's a handy trick you can pull off as long as people are too stupid to notice that you sell your own raw materials to yourself several times over, and report only the margins on the last sale.

There is a titch of truth in every lie that has any hope to be believable, no? Agree?

The truth in one of obamas lies "you didn't build that business by yourself, you had help" could be corrected by adding "help to reach multi billion dollar value".. absolutely.. for a company to achieve that kind of value there is more than a fair amount of smokey room meetings where favors are swapped and agreements made..

How many mom and pop businesses have been crushed by the big model stores? Walmart? Lowes? Big business grocery chains? Do you think there are fair practices involved in that type of growth? ..... The truth in his statement that hides behind the truth of smokey room agreements is this: the govt wants to renegotiate the agreements now.. it may have been a bribe dressed up like a lobbyist donation in its first form, but they want it dressed like a tax in the negotiating.. meanwhile, mom and pop can't compete, and will NEVER have that kind of success.. that last bit provided romneys retort, as he was speaking to small business owners, not the barons..

Round and round we go..

Bottom line, again, is that we are screwed no matter how it shakes out until career politicians are eradicated... But that ain't going to happen, so that means we are just screwed.

And that is why I don't belong to either party. They both are on the take to their constituencies.

Only way I see career politicians being eradicated is by another Civil War. Men on the ground going toe to toe with our armed forces, to take over.

How can people be sooooo stupid? We went from 8 trillion to almost 16 trillion in debt in less than 4 years, executive orders up the butt, gas double in price, no USA budgets in 3 years just CRs, laughed at by other countries, throw God out of the country and welcome in everyone else. Oh yes I believe he will come after guns by EO's under the premise of outrages paperwork and registration requirements that are impossible. Then in micro stamped ammo and lead, this can be under the EPA!

If/when they come for the guns my previous post comes much more relevant.

Men on the ground IS our armed forces.. or, our armed forces ARE men on the ground.. they are one and the same..

It's not the left or the right I fear.. its the opportunivors and bandits looking for a quick gain that are the problem.. guess who they are? Right now they are our elected (and some appointed) leaders.. further entrenching their ability to complete their intentions..

The concept of revolution, which implies violence, is ensuring a loss for everyone.. that is against even what the ruling elite (those that are gaining through this behavior) want.. we, as citizens, have to accept it.. I fall back to my original contribution to this thread, that says in short "when the productive three are about to break, they will accept any compromise presented that ensures their maintaining perceived quality of life"..

Guys, we are already there.. we live the American dream.. we work everyday, and have enough distractions and comforts to keep us settled.. trick now, is to get us to accept even less and bring those living lessor than Americans up to where we meet in the middle.. you'll have those living day to day, and those fortunate few who live like kings, with no hope to either rise, or fall, depending on your vantage..

On a side note I would suggest everyone to look into libertarianism. Nobody ever votes for the libertarian because "they don't have a chance" but if everyone who didn't want either candidate voted libertarian it would at least send a message that the American people weren't happy with the way things are.

Here's some interesting info if you can take the time to listen to it.

I'm referring to the average Joe that would die before letting the government take his/her guns.

It will be citizens vs. the Military.

I understood what you were saying.. I interjected:

Our armed forces are citizens themselves. They will NOT stomach taking up arms against themselves.. ain't going to happen.. this has long perplexed govt types.. its well documented..

On an aside, the is an EO that prescribes a police force better trained and equipped than our military, even describing the structure and management.. it said nowhere that it will be made up of American citizens.. that is flat out scary to me..
