I used my little Poulan Pro today to cut down an Oak tree, damn thing kept on cutting, until I ran out of gas, then after a refill it still kept on cutting

There's a Stihl in the garage, it's a bitch to start though.

 

My 009 was harder to restart when hot, if the air cleaner was clogged.
Two pull starts cold, most of the time.

 

Yep, as old as my Farm Boss is, one pull on full choke will start & sputter to a stop, set it to half choke and the next pull starts it EVERY TIME...

 

Mine too, unless I let the pre-filter get plugged and have an old spark plug in it; then it takes five or six pulls and I know it's time to do some maintenance.
