You make me want to get a job at an off-road shop...... the perks are getting to be too hard to ignore.

Outta be a nice tv! I bought a 50" Samsung Plasma last tax season from Amazon.com, and it didn't work out of the box

Samsung sent a tech to fix it only to discover a dent in the back of the tv, and because of the dent Samsung refused to honor their warranty. I was pissed, they have a beautiful display, and I prefer Plasma over LCD.

Anywho, I thought I was gonna end up with a 50" paperweight, but no, Amazon.com picked up the tv and gave me a full refund

3.5 - 4" is a good height and youll gain some load capacity...I havent looked into either of those lifts but CA's that utilize stock style bushings make for a good ride...i have a spare set of moog bushings in the workshop. The 3.5" Rubicon Express springs after install measured at 4.5" of lift and didnt sag at all...so a drop pitman is definitely required...trust me. A great but costly upgrade is the WJ knuckle conv. - bigger discs and calipers and the bonus of a high steer....

Good tv package but what...no blu-ray? I had a 42" vizio (Plasma) before..it was great...best contrast ratio out there at the time....had no issues...sold it for a move though.

Plasma runs real hot and uses a lot of pwr and the refresh rate seems to lack...

already have a blu-ray player for our current tv. this one is going in my bedroom, so i can play forza and other games on my 360. also makes for a good reason to stay in bed all day... we have a sleep number bed with a craftmatic frame!

Well I guess I'll know if I need new pistons once I get the block to the machine shop, it would save me a good chunk of change if I didn't have to get pistons. But it sounds like I would need to get dish pistons if I had to get it machined... Sorry about the thread jack, but thanks for the info!

I am still watching a 60" rear projection! Been hoping it would die for several years!

Bought a Samsung DLP a few years ago. Works fine. Replaced bulb for 80$ when it hit six years and still running strong. Much cheaper than a new one.

have one of your grand kids "accidently" throw a large ball, or toy at the screen. that should kill it!

ok serious question to get this thread somewhat back on topic....

couple local JY's have 5.9's

1st one is from a 94 with 108k on it for 500.

2nd one is from a 98 with 140k on it for 275.

which would you go with, and why?
