Default little demons are popping up now

have had this truck just a hair over a week now. still love it. love my dodge. i totally understand and not to concerend about anything that i may have to do to it. so i thought i would tell about the upcoming things i am going to do and may do.
1st replace all the seals and bearings in the rear end. it has that pinion bearing whine. its been years since i took the whole rear end apart but its got to be done. now quick realistic question. i called my local repair shop and they quoated my under $1000 to do the job!!! UMM NO thanks. if my figures are correct and not exact i can do it for around $100 if not a hair more myself. looked up some bearing and range about $20 give or take. plus seals and oil. does that sound about right?
2nd just found out the front axle seal is leaking fluid to today. GRRR more of a challenge but willing to tackle it.

3rd heater core is leaking, cant find leaking but you can sure smell it. whats funny is it also smells of anti freeze through the air vents even with the A/C on.

the TO GET LIST short for now

this friday putting duel exhaust on it
found on amazon a cold air intake plus a throttle body spacer, cheap.

that is all for now.

TB spacer is of no use whatsoever - except to the guy selling it.

tb spacer and a CAI are pretty much useless

The thing I learned when I had my harley is more air out need more air in. Why no on the cold air? When having duels put on?

CAI does not allow for much more air that OEM intake set up. Maybe a little, nit not significant. A lot of us run them, but d not expect a noticeable performance gain. I like the looks better then the factory which is why I did it anyway. The Volare (or something like that) actually may pull in more air, and draws from front, so more realistic "cold" ais intake, but they are pricey.

TB spacer is like snake oil. It provides nothing.

Even contemplated the old round style air intake.
After doing some reading I will stay away from the tbs. As for the cai I dont like the rigid hose and it coming from the fender side area.

Old school round filter is loud, but looks good when the Mopar performance one is used.
