Rockers. Best bang for the buck.

Tuner. Next best bang for the buck.

E-fans.... jury is still out on that one. You would think it would give you a bit more 'out of the hole' pep, and a bit better gas mileage, but, I have seen mixed reviews on that.

Tuner first so as to get rid of the death flash, then you have it for the rest of your planed mod's.

+1 tuner first. his 01 is eaten up with death flash.

if you intend to keep the motor mostly stock, and a speedo correction is important to you - you might save some money by getting a used superchips. it'll fix the death flash with a slight performance improvement, and be ok for the rockers and a cleaned up throttle body and headers, but that'd be about it.

if you haven't fixed your plenum yet, and its leaking - the tuner will expose the leak and cause a terrible pinging.

Plenum is good. Leaning toward getting the canned tunes first

I've already cleaned up my throttle body also! Somewhat of a 50mm !

My oldest sons rusted in two on his '97, he replaced it with a ratchet strap. I hope it's just a temporary fix.

Rachet strap?

I've been thinking of fabricating something myself. I don't wanna pay 40 bucks for a gas tank strap

That 40 bucks should be for both..... they come as a set.

Mine rusted out and broke too...... Looked REALLY funny with the gas tank hanging like that.

If you have a truck, you probably have one laying around somewhere.
