Default Slight oil discrepincy..

So, I got off of work this morning, started my truck to warm it up a tad and about 10 seconds later I noticed my truck had disappeared in a cloud of smoke. So I shut her down and went to figured out what was wrong, pulled the dip stick and found this

Yea... so... its safe to say my ole 318 with 10psi of oil pressure at idle that's been running w50 for the last 40k is finally dead. She tapped a little with 50, its too be expected it would end up like this. Just too bad i'm not ready for the 4bd1t yet, looks like its a junkyard 360 for now =/

I'm sorry, what exactly is that? And this should be in the non-tech section as well.

Why would it be in the non-tech section? my motor just galled itself internally, billows oil and essentially has bit the dust, I'm not sure I follow what IS supposed to be in the tech section I guess.

My take is your just stating something that happened to your truck. Your not asking a technical question of anyone, nor seeking technical advise. You are just stating your engine blew up and you guess you need a new engine. Its more of a general statement as opposed to a technical thread.
