Default leveling kit

2001 dodge ram 1500 4x4 ext 360. I'm looking to buy a leveling kit for my truck today and I was wounderin what's a good brand? I was thinking about going with zone off road. I was gonna buy the 2.5 leveling kit and 2 front shocks that are set up for 2-3 inchs of lift. Good idea or what should I do different?

You could also buy some coil springs from a 4x4 diesel, will net you 2" of lift and you gain a little more suspension travel than using the spacers.

Mine has 2.5" Hellbent Steel spacers on. It put my front about 1/2" higher than the back but I don't mind it.

Nah, but it would be a lot better ride if you had better shocks. I'm getting the Skyjacker Hydro 7000s off Autoanything. Them spacers do make the ride alittle rougher, not much though.

I'm getting the front shocks with the 1-3" lift option (I think) since my spacers are 2.5" and for the rear I think it's like 0-5" lift option.

I have a 98 dodge ram 1500 4x4 and I am planning on installing a 2.5" coil spring spacer leveling kit. I understand I need to get longer shocks but on 4 wheel parts website it had a two differ options: front dual OE w/2.5" lift, and front w/o-2.5" lift. What is the difference and how do I know which one i need? Thanks!

either one will probably work, but i would get the ones that specifically say "w/ 2.5" lift"...i think the stock shocks technically will handle the 2.5 inch spacers but that may result in increased wear and poorer ride quality. I'd go with the longer ones.
