Default Magnum block casting numbers

A friend of mine told me that some Magnum 5.9 blocks are worth more, depending on the casting number. If that's true, which casting numbers are worth more and why? I did a Google search and found nothing...

He may be thinking the difference between the LA blocks, and the Magnum blocks.... things change in 92 for the 360? I think?

There's also "X" and "R" (R, R1, R2, R3) blocks for racing, but I don't know if you're likely to find these on the street.

Well on the one side it has a letter and then a "6", but I don't know what the letter is, I have to clean it off some. It's on the right hand side, I'll see if I can get it cleaned off and maybe a picture posted here.

^^^ For instance, a 440 Magnum is worth more than a non Magnum 440.

An EFI magnum 360 is the same as any other. No buts about it.
