Well the 8.5 steering and my new wheel bearing assembly Is at the dealership waiting to be brought home. And I have all the ball joints and u joints in. I have to install the axle to and use the steering to get that other wheel bearing unit out.

All that being said I am ready to put them in next week over thanksgiving break.

But I have yet to figure out the tire and wheel situation. The stock steelies have mismatched tires. Two are 245 and the other 2 are 265. So I can't even roll on those. I want some cragar soft 8s and 295/70/17 tire but I'm running low on funds at the moment.

I will still probably out them in next week even if it puts the trucks out of commission

Just put the mismatched crap on there and run it till you can get the right stuff.

I might get a used set off craigslist and run them till I get the money. Truck is not DD.

But couldn't I destroy my transfer case with mismatched tires if I had to use 4x4

Don't use 4x4.

If you are on a very slick surface like ice or in mud it would not hurt it. The difference in those two tire sizes in not much, assuming they have the same aspect ratio.

They do have the same aspect ratio. But are noticeably mismatched to the naked eye. But not horribly so.

I might try to get these. Would be worth it for only 100
