Oh God...is my transmission on its way out?
While tinkering on the truck today I decided to check the trans. fluid, as it's been a while since I've done so. And I found this:
It's hard to see, but there is a slight darkness in the middle of the pink splotches. I'm wondering if that's the source of the "clunk" I've had ever since my little incident with reverse at 45mph.
Any input?

I'm pretty sure the pan I use for my mower isn't big enough for 7 qts of fluid....

Nope. Had it done 10/12/11 at 155,068. I'm at 160,374 now.
Also had the bands adjusted too.

Install a drain plug while the pan is off.
