Anyone have a pair of the Infinity door speakers with the amps that would fit my 2000 Ram lying around you would like to sell?
I'm trying to put my stereo system back to stock. The PO chopped it up by adding a bunch of after market stuff then removing most of it before trading the truck.
i have to agree that it would probably be easiest and cheaper just to go aftermarket than it would be to piece together a stock system. i picked up a cheap stereo with 4 speakers at walmart for $70 beat nothing

There are aftermarket speakers in place in the doors now. Apparently the Infinity speakers with their built-in power amps drives the tweets and the rear speakers which are not working now. I only have the door speakers working now. I would like it to operate like the stock system is supposed to.

Yes they do afaik. You can take the stock deck and bypass the amps by wiring the speakers directly to the deck so it will behave the same, but is wired much easier then stock. Wiring those amps back in is more headache then its worth, you know many wires are attached to those things right? When I pulled the speakers/amps out of my buddies second gen there was more wires heading to those amps then Ive ever seen.
