Yeah I've been fluctuating between 4.88, 5.13, 5.38, 5.86 a lot haha. I'll end up deciding when I get back from my summer internship. They exist I'm just not looking forward to the dent in my wallet to regear another set of axles.

Haven't touched the truck in months. But I'm going to be hopefully getting an upgraded tune from Sean next week to help with running lean. He recommended getting 24# injectors with my build. Any opinions about that? Anyone have a good link to good ones? And just so people don't have to go through my thread again...

I'm happily running Bosch #0280155784
They're 4 port 22.3lb/hr@43.5psi (23.7@49psi) 12.5ohm
You need EV1/EV6 adapters

Those what?... links?
The first is to a source for the injectors, the second is for a source for one version of the adapters.

Ask Sean if his recommendation is 24lbs/hr at your rail pressure, or 24lbs/hr at nominal test pressure (43.5psi), as that will make a difference.

Mine could be considered 22# injectors, but they're delivering close to 24lbs/hr at my rail pressure... that's why I included all the numbers in my post.

Coil resistance can also effect injector responsiveness, so you need something close to stock on that front.

And just to put this into perspective, my stock injector spec's are;
Siemens 53030778 (EV1) 21.9lbs/hr@43.5 PSI (23.2@49psi) 12ohm.
These would also be generically considered 22# injector, but as you can see my replacements are a good 0.5lb/hr more delivery, which for me, at this point, are great.

So Sean told me to talk to Rick at Hi-Potek and he sent me the info for the right injectors. Comes out to be around $314 + shipping. So that will be on order soon enough. A mechanic friend of mine thinks I might have to get a hotter coil to support the new injectors and other mods so I can have sufficient spark. Any thoughts on this?

Also, I've been re-looking at gears for the new axles as well. Going through websites is getting confusing and whatnot as some don't specify if the gears fit just Dana 70's or the Dana 70U, which I have. I know there are different measurements inside the differential so it must matter which gears I get. So if someone was kind enough to get me a fantastic website to actually call and order something?

Also, is the Dana 60 front similar to our Dana 44? As in, I bought thick cut gears for my Dana 44, could I do the same for the Dana 60? I intend on keeping the factory carrier.

Details about the axles:
1992 Dodge W-250 rear Dana 70U - factory 3.55 gears
1997 Dodge 2500 front Dana 60 - factory 4.10 gears

The stock coil will be fine.

Best bet may be to call folks you would like to order gears from, and ask them. Make SURE you get the right parts.

There should be thick gears available for the D60, so you can use the stock carrier.

Awesome, I like how Randys R&P is set up so I'll probably call them.
