I have a 01 Ram Sport Off Road edition and I finally have everything mechanical fixed so it's time to go for looks. Right now I'm rocking stock suspension with a 3 inch body lift and I'm thinking about either upgrading my suspension to a taller lift or get black rims with better backspacing. I'm running 35/12.5/r20 Toyo Open country's. Any thoughts?

Should look good. You might want some lower gears for the axles although yours should be 4.10 so not too bad when stepping up to 35". Easiest way to tell is put a set of 35s on and drive it to see if you like it. If its automatic the transmission would prefer lower axle gears, especially around town.

He already has the 35's on there. (at least, that is what I am reading...)

Keep in mind, that the Off Road Edition trucks are two inches taller from the factory. So, a 5 inch lift, will only actually net you 3" of lift.

^Good point by HY, OP you already have a 2" suspension lift from the factory. You're actually at 5" of lift with the BL.

For looks, fender flares maybe? CB Antennas? I donno, should post a pic, might get more suggestions.

can we see a pic of your truck as it is now? Black wheels/new AT tires, window tint (if already not done), fender flairs, maybe a brush guard. Do the off roads come with nerf bars? Spray in bed liner also look realy clean. Maybe a CB/antena and some off road lights.

I couldn't figure out how to post a picture as a reply here so I created an album on my page. The pictures were flipped and I could only get three so if anyone wants to see more feel free to private message me.

Right now it's running 35/12.5/r20s on the 4.10 gears and a 5.9l 360. The list for future things I want to do is black rims with better backspacing, more lift and to get it level (which most lifts do), grille guard (not full brush guard just the grille part), roll bars in the bed, and more lighting from either kc lights or a light bar. Right now my budget won't let me do all those so I'm wondering what you guys think I should do first and any other ideas you have. Thanks!

I like to use www.photobucket.com once you upload the picture it give you URL links that you copy and past to the reply box and the pic pips in when posted.

What rims do you have your eyes on?

Well I was looking at Worx type 85s but I'm not sure they maje them wide enough for my tires in a 20 inch wheel so I'm staying to look at xds. I plastidipped my current wheels for the time being just so I can have black rims, but definitely want to replace them someday.
