Default tuff country 3in. yes or no

I have the opportunity to get a tuff country 3in. lift which is number 33920. I have a 2001 dodge 1500 sport with 2in spacers up front already. I was looking at getting this kit as it includes upper and lower control arms. should I pull the trigger on this deal or pass? thanks guys

Says it's for 2500 or 3500, not 1500. A little research will save you a lot of headache.

33910 is the correct number. Sorry for mix up. Or save money and upgrade steering components and track bar.

Sure, but don't try and stack this kit on top of your 2" spacers...

I'm just wanting to know if it's worth it for the control arms or leave it alone and spend money on other things for my truck.

That depends on what you want. Done your plenum yet? Tune up? Get the engine up to snuff first, cosmetics later. If you already have 2" spacers, 3" aint going to make that much more difference. Thats a lot of money for some spacers and add-a-leafs. Not sure if you even need the control arms, someone else will confirm.

decided to pass on lift. I just ordered plenum kit and new valve cover gaskets the other day. Money that would have been used for lift will be put towards steering upgrade. Then on to picking new tires out. Thanks for all that responded to post.

The saying "you get what you pay for" applies for lift kits in a big way. When I was checking out lifts I considered tuff country for the price but I chose quality over cost in the end. Tuff country gives you spacers instead of springs and I believe the back is AAL or is it block? They don't supply drag links, pitman arms or anything else you may need with a 3 inch. Spacers are a big no no for me when considering lift kits. I prefer a full coil.
