Default ORE Leveling Kit

I have a 2001 Ram 1500 Sport Off Road edition and I basically just want to know if you're able to level an Off Road Edition. I know their suspension is different and haven't ever gotten a real definitive answer. Just want to know if I can level it, and what size is recommended.

Nope. You're at 2.5" of suspension lift now, add any more (leveling spacers included) and you're gonna need new control arms and an adjustable track bar.

How much would control arms and a track bar cost me?
And how much longer do I want from each of those things?

Enough that you would be further ahead just buying a real lift kit, instead of going to the trouble of piecing the parts together. Plus, a kit would come with stuff for the rear as well.

The offroad editions share the same front end components (control arms etc) as the regular 4x4 rams do except for the lift and its maxed out. I had a buddy who has an ORE and he put a leveling kit on it and it moved the axle back probably 1.5 inches and it moved 1.5 inches to the left. The leveling kit actually caused him more issues with fitting 35s then it did without because now it rubs because the axle shifted. You are best off to go out and buy a lift kit (3-5"). Keep in mind that there is no lift kit made for an ORE. A regular ram lift kit will work and what will lift a regular ram say 5 inches will only lift yours 3.
