So what kind of contracting did you do? And how will you make money now?
I'm an IT Specialist. Weeeeeeeeeeeee -- fancy titles.
Going to work for an insurance company to support and convert a legacy system to SQL Server along with writing Crystal Reports. The job entails fun, none of the BS working for the Government, and a 7% pay raise.

Enjoy it, I've been putting in applications left and right, across various fields of work, I can't catch a bone.
Interviews go great, people love we, then I never hear from them again OR if I'm lucky I get the dear john you're not hired letter or email.

Awesome! Congrats Gary!! is the new job in the same area? Or are you going to be moving as well?
My local news paper tells me that I'm getting a .13% pay raise. I hope that's a typo. Sad I find out about my pay raises in the news paper. My salary is also posted on the internet to make it public knowledge. Fun!

Wouldja believe I've got some office servers under contract that are running AcuCOBOL-GT? The application vendor just installed an application upgrade yesterday, in fact. At least they haven't had the stunningly stupid idea of rewriting it all in Java.
