Nope. Go beyond that though, and all sorts of stuff will need to change.

AFAIK, you need new lowers as it uncenters the axle just a wee bit, enough to cause to problems.

OP if you want to do it right stay away from blocks and spacers. Get lift springs and AAL's.

after lookign around for tires i have 265/70r17. they area already basicly 31" tires and i have plenty of room with these. so upping it to 35"s or 36"s will be no problem at all.

You aren't going to be able to fit 35s or 36s with just a 3" lift. You will have major rubbing. 33s would be perfect and you can get away with running stock gears with them.

BBartow ...Thank you for answering...........I bought & traded my trucks already lifted (so I did not feel qualified to state the answer as you have provided). I appreciate the work you've put in your rig. K.

Example - My tires on this 97 sig pic are 33" and I'm running with 3.54 gearing (ok). It has 2" leveling springs and a 3" body lift. If I were to run 35" tires then I would need to re-gear to at least 4.10's to save my auto tranny and engine from an early demise. There would be a clearance issue. K
