i have a 2000 5.9 i had a miss a spark plug melted to the exhaust manifold , bought new plugs started it up i heard a knock , got it towed to a shop . no knock when to take it for a test drive no 1st 2nd 3rd or 0d, just reverse and says its throwing alot of transmission codes . i feel like im at loss , it never shifted funny never sliped ,no clucks clicked delayes . perfect shifing since this issue and that my alt fuse blew before which made me bring it to the shop the first time

 

Are you getting power down to the trans?

 

in reverse yes , i was getting power before all the codes showed up

 

Think I would have a look at the 8 pin connector.... see if it is loose/damaged.

 

whats the 8 pin connector ?

 

Drivers side, 'bout halfway back on the trans.
