Default All-Aluminum Radiators?

As you may have seen in my What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today? post, I'm up for a new radiator.

The highly recommended CSF 2969 that is now discontinued is close to imposable to find... so what other all-aluminum options are out there, short of a custom build?
Most of what I'm finding is for diesel models, w/auto (I'm gas/manual).

If I got 176k out of the original, is it really worth spending close to twice the $$ to avoid plastic tanks?

I haven't had a problem with my replacement stock style.

Is all aluminum worth it? probably if you plan on keeping the truck forever.

Is it absolutely neccessarry? Nahhhh

HB, I was of similar thought... I do plan on keeping this truck for as long as possible, but since the OE radiator did 176k, I figure even a radiator every 100k is fine.

Luck has been with me on this... not just with the failure location and quick fix to get me home, but I just went back to eBay (had been searching there last night), and found a fresh listing for a new CSF 2969 with free shipping for $192... I was all over that like a rash

Hopefully there'll be no problems with the temp fix and it will last a week, until the new radiator arrives.

Was just able to find a CSF 2969 all-aluminum radiator just a couple of days ago for a friend's 2001 Ram 3500 4x4 via Amazon.com. It was supposed to be the last one in the warehouse out of NY for $185.95. Went ahead and ordered it and received it within 2 days. Seems there are still a few left from a couple of eBay vendors, too.
