Live like you want to live, brother. My wife and I didn't ask the neighbors to approve our marriage, either.

Ain't no percentage in that, man. All you can hope to accomplish by it is making yourself unhappy, perhaps even blaming those whose thoughts you disagree with for your unhappiness. Trust me: I've been living around people with customs I find strange and unfathomable my whole life, and too many of them have taken it upon themselves to try to pressure me into giving up my own way of being to adopt theirs. It got me down at times when I was a young child, but I learned all on my own to focus instead upon their actions. Peaceful folks are just fine even when their ways are strange, and hostile folks are bad even when their ways are familiar.

Thinking about it that way leaves a lot more room for happiness, don'tcha suppose?

I read this on another forum and thought I would borrow it.

#1. If you don't like what I wrote, or if it offends you, then don't read it!
#2. I am living life the way I see fit, if you don't like the way I'M living, tough sh**!

Whoever wrote that was certainly gifted with a double digit IQ.

Just in case that intellectual giant (or one of equivalent stature) visits, I should explain: It's not until after reading that one can know if he dislikes or is offended by your words. I know logical thought is difficult when the only thing between your ears is lost cotton swabs, but surely you know someone whose family tree has actual branches on it who can help you to avoid making a public *** of yourself.

Unreg,
I think you're READING into statement one a little too much.

Yes you have to read it first to know if you like it or not. BUT!!!!!!!!!!! You can read the first line or two and know you're going to dislike what you're reading. You can stop or continue to read. I'm guessing that is what the original writer of that line was meaning. Or that is the way I am going to take it.

I'm God, Guns, & Country type of guy and as we all know spent most of my adult life defending that. I'm glad I don't have to take orders from the idiot in office now and will be real glad when he is GONE.
I was totally embarrassed that they lit the White House up in support of the Supreme Courts ruling. I don't remember anytime before that the White House was lit up like that. It just shows how the idiot is trying to ruin our country even more.

Off my soap box and no more political statements from me.

Thought for sure a Jeep was gonna lose his driver front tire this morning.

Was traveling up 95N headed to work and started to pass an older Jeep Wrangler, he went from the right lane to the middle lane and I heard a terrible noise, and saw that his driver front tire was shaking like crazy, he served back to the right lane then to the shoulder, stopped for maybe 30 seconds and continued to speed up the interstate.

Maybe it was just a case of death wobble on steroids? Quite surprised he didn't lose it.
