Speaking of fuel, still have the diesel and just filled for $2.24 a gallon. It totaled 17.9 gallons putting her at 19.8 MPG, (not bad for an old 99). The old 98 gasser slugging away at 11.3 mpgs. Keith

edit for Wildman4x4nut on 7/8. The $2.24 price included $.20 per gallon discount for Kroger gas, (We buy our groceries from Kroger). Keith

Man I wish my diesel was only $2.24 a gal. Right now I am paying $3.12-3.20 per gal for diesel. I don't really look at gas prices since the Jeep isn't running and when I fill my bike I use premium and it is always 6 gal or less. Last time I filled my bike I was getting 39.3 MPG and my truck is getting 13.7 MPG. I would be happy with anything over 16 MPG in the truck. But it has always just gotten under 14 MPG since I have owned it. I'm sure part of it is the 35" tires on stock gearing.

So we've got a problem with one of our trucks, 2012 GMC 2500 DuraMax, it's dead. No electrical power to anything on the truck itself, even with a jump box one on battery and jumper cables on the other.

It was used and parked and than dead. There are a couple of things connected to the battery that work but nothing else does.

Anyone have any ideas? Be nice not to have it towed to the shop.

Golly! I saw an ad on Ebay for the rear hitch receiver off a 2001 ORE that was being parted out. The picture for the ad showed the truck that was being parted out, and it had a phone number on it. I called the number to inquire about the front tow hooks, but they had already sold. Guy claims he got $350 per side for the tow hooks, including the brackets. That's crazy! Someone definitely got screwed!

That's insane to pay that for just tow hooks, heck I see Ranchhand full replacement bumpers for $600-$1000 all the time on Craigslist

Valid point. And it comes with hooks, or d-rings.

Them fellers weigh a ton though, so shipping is killer.....

Buying tow hooks^^. My wife complains about AC in the 99 diesel, (slow leak every year). I'm running her to the big city on the
interstate for the 19 mpg's and she complains about her hair blowing with the windows down. I don't think I've ever checked
it on the 98.

Anybody use AC anymore? Keith
