Newcomer from Georgia (Project IndyRam)
Hello, everyone. My name is Austino, and I am grateful to find a forum specifically for 2nd Generation Rams! I am excited to hear about everyone's truck and discuss parts and performance. I currently own a 1996 Ram Indy with a stock 360, and it currently has 132,000 miles. I plan to test and tune soon, and my future plans are full-out drag racing. I have yet to run an eighth or quarter mile, but once I do those, I will post them, and I'll be more specific when it comes to questions or discussion.
Again, I am excited to discover a new community, and I hope to make some good connections along the way.

Looks to be in pretty good shape.
If you are going to be racing it, I think the FIRST thing I would do is replace the trans with a mega-viper, or the parts kit to stuff into your case. Transmissions were one of the weak points on these trucks. However, a fair few of the 47/48RE parts will fit nicely inside the 46 case.
I didn't have my speakers on for your video.... So...... What mods do you plan for the engine? How much power you lookin' to try and squeeze out of it?
Welcome to DF!

I believe a shift kit was installed (more detail to come). As far as upgrades, I have seen a 360 bored and stroked to a 408 (which I may plan to do). I actually desire to keep it stock for a while until I get used to drag racing, but my ultimate goal is to own the quickest Indy Ram, and maybe the quickest truck in Georgia (this will be a lifetime goal).

The takeoff video may give you seizures, my apologies, I was blinded by the light, literally.
