So long ago I noticed that my Ram with stock rims and tire size at full lock to the left would rub the inner tire on the lower control arm, I then upgraded to the 17" ORE Rims and the rub moved to the rim itself, never could figure out why.

Back in March I had to replace the steering box to pass inspection and ever since then there has been no rub at full lock........

Haha, people think MN gets a lot of snow, but half of it is SALT! I'm born and raised MN, go Twins!

He must've found a southern/western truck or garage queen.

Any of our fellow members here in/around Austin, Texas? What's the living like? Haven't heard anything bad.

A job opportunity has opened up with my employer for a reversible roadway they won the support contract for. I applied, curious to see how far it goes...

Haven't heard anything bad.

I don't live in Austin, but since it's so close we hear a lot of what happens across the border.

Austin is a pocket, or bubble, that is in Texas but is different than the rest of Texas. While a majority of Texas is far right on the political spectrum, Austin is more centrist and even to the left. Keep in mind that the unofficial slogan is "Keep Austin Weird", meaning the residents want to keep their identity unique from the rest of the State.

It is considered the Silicon Valley of the Southwest, with a lot of tech startups and tech industries taking root. Austin has experienced a lot of growth in the past 15 years to the point the #1 complaint is traffic congestion. I know someone from high school who lives in Austin. I last spoke with him about five years ago, and he said he loves it down there (we're both originally from the northern Illinois area).

Try perusing the City Data forums to get an idea what it's like to land in Austin, as a transplant. http://www.city-data.com/forum/austin/
