Probably just air trapped in the heater core. It is notoriously difficult to burp it all out. My cooling system stays full, but, my heat still sucks.

Yeah I heard that you can try and burp it by putting it on a ramp, then trying. It might be worth a shot when I get back.

Yeah, putting the truck at an angle sometimes helps.... generally the more pucker-factor the angle has, the better it works.

Finally back home! Looking at picking up some new front shocks, a Red Head steering gear, and to address my freon leak. My exhaust broke so I did some welding to get that patched up again. Some small rust spots I need to clean up but nothing serious. Aaaaaaand after a 15+ years, the spray in bed liner is finally peeling away so I need to just redo it with something. Not bad for a truck with 205,000 miles.

Do people still post here? Anyways, I replaced the low pressure schrader valve for the AC system and charged it up. Hopefully it sticks for more than a few weeks this time. Also gonna tow a 4200lb camper this weekend for a small getaway. I'll keep you guys posted on how that goes!

Truck pulled the camper no problem. Definitely burns through oil a bit faster but nothing too crazy. We had a great time. Definitely pumped that the AC was still working. We'll see if it still works after a few weeks. The passengers were not terribly enthused about my exhaust setup at 2500 RPM the whole trip but it was only a few hours thankfully. I don't think I have any fiberglass left inside my glasspacks haha
