Why is it that when you work hard and make something nice some jerk weed thinks its okay to take it away from you.? I am pretty sure I did not owe these thieves anything close to what my truck was worth to me. And also pretty sure they do not deserve it, but none the less someone thought it was the thing to do. Steal my truck from in front of my house right after I left for work. Cameras show it driving off and hour after I did, then my neighbors camera showed it being used to burgerlar a house down the street. I found out the truck was stolen was when the police called me at work to question me about the other crimes. Should I get another 2nd gen? it wont be as nice, but is that just another project. BTW if you see one in your area for sale.

Kill switch and 2-way alarm should be in your future. And move out of Tejas. Btw, your truck is deep in mexico.

first thing I did was install a remote start / alarm with ignition kill in the SS/T after I bought it last year.. while not 100% an alarm is a theft deterrent and 90% of the time causes the thief to move on to the next vehicle

Okay, good and bad news, my truck was recovered after it was involved in a high speed chase, who knew it would do high speeds? now its back at the casa waiting for the insurance people to come by and tell me how much my truck isn't worth.

I don't know man.... My truck can go a LOT faster than I really think it should.

Amen. Haven't tried in a while but 18 years ago mine could bury the needle with ease. Engine probably still could but I bet suspension/steering would make me regret trying that again.
