Default Best jack/stands for lifted 2500?

Hello, picked up a 199 2500 v10 that is lifted, and wondering what jack system is best. I need to get both the right and left front side of the ground to replace seals in the dana 60.
I have nerf bars as well on either side and need to know proper jack, jack points etc. A little google searching and youtube videos actually resulted in disparaging remarks from owners.

Suggestions?

Standard jackstands, place them under the axle tubes.

And what about the jack itself? -

Can I use une of the trail jacks under the nerf bar as a mount point?

Probably not. They aren't designed to support the weight of the truck....

I just use a floor jack.

You are planning to replace axle seals and don't know how to jack up a truck? End well this will not...

Ya got a point there! If i remember correctly i had to put a 2X12 (cut square) under my jack stands because they weren't tall enough with 33's.

Jack it up, take the tires off, set it on the stands.

I have had to do that more than once on customer trucks.....

get a set of the 12ton jackstands from horrible freight... they're huge, perfect for lifted rigs and they feel safe... normal stands that everyone has look so tiny and frail compared to a huge truck lol

I always love when people tell me "oh that wont go well"....well it went fantastic, and i did the job MYSELF. Bought the jacks based on recommendation here, and attacked it.
Listen...the thing i love the best about such comments is that it motivates me even harder to get it done. Without being a resentful dick, I do want to point out that people in general are capable of great things, and even if they **** it up, so what. They learned. In my case, I research, I ask the right questions in lieu of sounding like a newb, and get **** done.

/endrant.

Thanks for everyone's input
