It has a stock intake breather but I took the intake “tube”, that goes to the fender well, off. I don’t have fender liners in right now, they fell off at the bogs lol. Still have them hanging in the garage though.
I took the tube out because when it is on, it kinda sags, and the inner fender is super dirty. I felt like water would get into there easier than it would without the tube on. Am I wrong?
although, would that possibly affect temps too? Leaving it with just the stock piece with the filter in it, on.

I don't do intentional mud bogging with my trucks, I've spent way too much time doing body work to stuff mud up inside all my work That is what the quad is for....

It was usually the ignition coil getting wet, but when I was out the other night some water splashed up into the intake and it was bogging down really bad, that's when I just revved it to clear all the water out. I took it easy after that, only happened twice that night. But at the bogs it happened more like three or four times.
The problem used to be the ground on the back of the block getting wet and coming loose, but I fixed that, and now it just doesn't like water lol.
Also update: I got all my tools and the four spares to fit with some extra room, all good, no tires on hoods

Haven’t logged on in awhile, sorry about that haha. But I made it down to North Carolina, just in time to get hit by Florence unfortunately.
Hood hinges got a little messed up due to driving in the wind, hood flew up. Also, got a toolbox.
Had a check engine light pop up every once in awhile but then it goes away, not sure what that’s about but it fixes itself everytime.
I had to replace my brake pads once, I’m about to do it again this weekend.
I plan on making ANOTHER journey across a few stares upto Cleveland after I get those new pads in, so I’ll update on that if I make it!
heres a picture of the hood now:
