Default Dashboard Cracks- Not Bad, Would Like to Repair

So my grey dashboard has a few a couple cracks- I know they can virtually disintegrate, but mine is pretty good other than two cracks. Has anyone found a good product to fill and stabilize these cracks? I would like to find something in grey so it's not too obvious. Just prefer keeping the dash intact as long as is practical.

FWIW, my son has a '94 with a red interior- Absolutely zero cracks in the dash....!

Thanks

I would use JB Weld or something like that.Wont look good after but a dash pad will hide the repair.

I replaced my dash about 10 years ago with a genuine Mopar dash.It cost about $600 IIRC.
It was beyond trying to patch.

You need a grain pad and paid putty. You put the putty in and right before it does put the grain into the dash, then paint

Just curious that 94 is it gas or diesel?
Loud exhaust or quiet with no cab resonance?

I think it has more to do with where you drive, rather than what fuel it uses. The problem was, the material the dash was made of, wasn't as UV resistant as it should have been, so, the more sun it got, the quicker it got brittle, and disintegrated. Some colors seems to have been worse than others. I don't think I have ever seen a red interior truck..... Didn't even know that was an option. The gray dash in my 96, (gas) was perfect. The dash in my 98, (tan) has some pretty significant cracks in it.

I just found that the 98 was the first year to offer the Cummins in the Dodge and it has a huge amount of complaints for Dashs cracking.
My 2003 had no cracks and 2 weeks after installing my new FloPro 4 inch I was getting in cab resonance...Installed a twister to handle the sympathetic vibrations...ordered longer twister because I was still getting them on light throttle and my friend just noticed a crack on my dash...
New crack not there a week earlier...
131000kms
I think sympathetic vibrations from the diesel or exhaust are causing the hardened dash to crack...IMO

Edited..
98 Tan...Let me guess Diesel powered?
The thing that is throwing me off is the Complaints say they are 1500's which I don't think the diesel was offered

I have the V-10.

The diesel has been available since some time in the 80s. In 98.5 the trucks got a bit of an update, and the 12 valve cummins, was replaced by the 24 valve cummins. Still 5.9L I-6 though.

I am just trying to wrap my head around why my trucks dash cracked
Bought it new and have been trying to keep it that way.
I am just heart broken cause I am disabled/challenged... and I take days to do a few hours worth of work on my own stuff.
Don't mind spending the money I just don't trust any shop I can't hang out while they are working.
I have one who treats me great and I don't abuse the priveledge
Thx again
